Nearmedic Plus Becomes Partner of "Pharmevolution 2017" Forum

On April 4, 2017, the 3rd International Forum "Pharmevolution 2017" took place, dealing with development prospects of pharmaceutical industry in Russia. The event was organized by the Russian business newspaper Vedomosti supported by the government of Kaluga region, the regional Agency for Innovative Development – center of cluster development, and by the Kaluga pharmaceutical cluster. The discussion was attended by the Governor of Kaluga region, Anatoly Artamonov; the Director of the Pharmaceutical and Medical Industry Development Department of the RF Ministry of Industry and Trade, Olga Kolotilova; and Deputy Director, Department for State Regulation of Drug Circulation of the RF Ministry of Health, Philipp Romanov.

The event was attended by representatives of Russian and foreign pharmaceutical companies, research organizations, pharmacy chains, industry associations, as well as leading analysts, industry experts, and journalists.

The main topic of discussion was the development of pharmaceutical clusters in Russia. Highly appreciated was the work of the Kaluga pharmaceutical cluster, which, according to forecasts, will take 10%-12% of the total production of medicines in Russia in five years.

Nearmedic Plus, one of the founders and an active participant (member of the Board) in the Kaluga pharmaceutical cluster, became a partner of the "Pharmevolution 2017" forum.

Also discussed during the event were issues relating to government support of pharmaceutical companies, promotion of domestic drugs on the foreign market, pricing in the industry and other relevant topics.
